Shibuya District, Tokyo Japan
The Digital Land plot in the epicenter of business, shopping and entertainment in Tokyo. This is the most colorful and populous district of the capital, since the largest business centers and department stores, fashionable shops and restaurants of various cuisines, the best nightclubs and cinemas are concentrated here.
Shibuya has something to be surprised about. For example, this is where the tallest skyscrapers are located, one of which is a copy of the New York Empire State Building.
The headquarters of eminent corporations like Shiseido, Casio Microsoft, Google, Coca-Cola are located in the business districts. In the hyper-fashionable quarter of Harajuku all world brands and all exclusive boutiques are collected in one place. And on weekends, cosplayers gather here - young people in fancy costumes in the best traditions of anime.
The most recognizable place of Shibuya is, of course, its famous Shibuya Crossing. It became the hallmark of modern Tokyo: it is the world’s busiest intersection with up to a million people walking across it daily. It is often likened to New York’s Times Square due to the sheer number of people and electronic advertisements overhead.
And finally, there is the most touching monument - the statue of the dog Hachiko, a faithful friend who had been waiting for the owner to return at the same place for many years.
